Cherry Creek Theatre: 4000 Miles

The June production of the Cherry Creek Theatre is the dramatic comedy 4000 Miles by Amy Herzog, a 2013 Pulitzer prize finalist for drama. We will announce the cast, discuss how they were chosen, and provide behind the scenes insights about the play, how it was selected, and how the venue is transformed from a rug gallery to a theatre for every performance.

Lights, camera, action!

Play-Ground Theatre will collaborate with After School is Cool (ASIC) students ages 7 and up at Valdez-Perry Branch Library this spring to create an original play to be performed on Saturday, May 7 at 2 p.m.

Founders of Play-Ground Theatre, Mia Sole and Jeff Haycock, will lead acting games, character exploration, dance, singing and rehearsal for this one-of-a-kind spring performance.

Attendance at all six sessions, including the final performance, is strongly encouraged.

Day 1: Monday, April 25, 4:15-5:15 p.m.

Yoga Storytime with Sara Robinson

Chamber Music Concert

Get swept away by a wide range of classical works performed by amateur musicians from the Colorado Chamber Music Society. Performances will take place the third Saturday of the month, September through May. No registration is required.

An Evening of Comedy featuring Sam Tallent with Byron Graham

Kids from Valdez-Perry's After School is Cool (ASIC) program perform an original play created with Mia Sole and Jeff Haycock, founders of Play-Ground Theatre.

Performance is at 2 p.m. Participating youth should arrive at 1:30 p.m.
