Memory Cafe

Join us for a fun and relaxing time as we gather together for coffee, tea and treats - without needing to worry about forgetting or remembering. Designed for people experiencing memory loss and their families/caregivers, the Memory Cafe is a safe place to socialize, relax and get engaged, without the fear of stigma. At the Memory Cafe, we can all just be ourselves. Each cafe has a focus - such as music or art - to facilitate the main goal, which is social connection for individuals with shared experiences. We do not provide formal care or supervision.

Tai Chi with Mile High Fitness

Tai Chi was originally developed for self-defense but has evolved into a graceful form of exercise. Come experience this “meditation in motion” and gain serenity through gentle, flowing movements. Appropriate for all levels.

The Denver Public Library has partnered with Bonfils Blood Center to host a blood drive outside of the Central Library on the Bonfils mobile blood collection bus. PLEASE NOTE: the hours are 8-9:40 a.m. and 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. No appointments available 9:40 a.m.-11 a.m.
