To Serve and Protect: The History of African American Police Officers in Denver Exhibit


The Denver Police Museum presents a look at the past, highlighting male and female African American police officers who have served the community. The exhibit will feature oral histories from retired officers, as well as uniforms, badges and other artifacts.

An award winning Fiber Artist Valerie C. White has been creating quilts for almost twenty years. A retired Art educator from the District of Columbia Public Schools in Washington DC, she continues to share her passion for textiles, teaching and presenting lectures nationally.

On Being Blue: Community Art Show and Reception

“On Being Blue” will feature over 15 artists from the local community showcasing work that explores both the color and sentiment of BLUE. We use the word to describe our emotional state being ‘out of sorts’ or even moving into the realm of actual depression. Artists will express their choice, ranging from any shade of blue, or expressing the emotion.

National Renewable Energy Laboratory Exhibit
