Meet and visit with the author of The Last Akaway as he shares his personal experience with dyslexia and his inspiration for this fantasy adventure. An Akaway is a rare and magical creature that connects you to your spirit animal. Once you've connected, you have all the special powers that your spirit animal possesses. But those powers are in serious jeopardy!

Also learn about Denver Public Library's Summer of Reading program. Read or listen to books and earn prizes.
