Fresh City Life is hosting two holiday concerts that promise to be memorable moments of this season!
Denver Gay Men’s Chorus
Fresh City Life is honored to be hosting a free performance of the Denver Gay Men's Chorus in its 31st season. This spectacular event will feature almost 200 men. Their angelic singing, bright spirits, and holiday cheer will enhance your season. This concert will include favorite holiday carols, magnificent settings of "Gloria" and "Hodie Christus Natus Est," an audience sing-a-long, and plenty of inspirational singing, including a stunning arrangement of "I Heard the Bells". The concert will close with the fastest version of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" ever performed. A new tradition will begin this season with a song dedicated to the memory of our Chorus Angels. The Chorus Angels are all the men who have gone on from this life and were members of the chorus. From the opening sounds of "Gloria" to the epic waves of "I Heard the Bells," you will not want to miss this concert. Come see why the Denver Gay Men's Chorus is the premiere chorus in Denver. Co-hosted by our friends at Denver’s Arts & Venues, this concert will be held in the recently re-opened McNichols Building.
Saturday, December 8, 1-2 p.m., McNichols Building at Civic Center Park, 144 W Colfax Avenue, Denver 80202
