Learn something new at Crafts for the Masses. Our Modern Locket workshop takes the old idea of wearing a reminder of someone special and gives it a fresh spin.
Turn any image into a keepsake piece of jewelry by glazing it onto a glass tile. Talented jewelry maker, Mitzi Loffelmacher (who creates under the name Little Sister Jewelry), guides this workshop. Perfect as a gift for Mother's Day or as a remembrance of someone you love or miss, making these chic lockets are a crafter's dream.
Mitzi will share all her tips and techniques for creating a professional jewelry piece. Register now and join us for Crafts for the Masses:

A classic locket opens to hold a photo or sentimental objects and is worn around the neck – usually to keep thoughts of a loved one near. In this workshop, we’ll learn to make a modern locket – a shapely tile of clear glass with a favored photo reproduction on the back creating a luminescent portrait necklace. Fresh City Life provides everything you need to make this beautiful keepsake that makes a wonderful gift for someone or even for you! Once you’re registered, you’ll bring us (or send us via email) a photo to be sized for a locket, and it will be ready for you on the day of the workshop so you can create your own personal piece of jewelry. $10 materials fee, all supplies included.
