Speaking of things your kids get to do, but you don't - when's the last time you took a field trip? Join the folks at the Schlessman Branch for two special field trips this Sunday. Enjoy the beautiful Colorado summer while strolling through one of Denver's oldest cemeteries and learning about Colorado's colorful past. The first group will meet up at the RIVERSIDE CEMETERY CHAPEL (5201 BRIGHTON BLVD) at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 13. The second field trip will begin at 2 p.m. onSaturday, July 13at the FAIRMOUNT CEMETERY GATE (430 S. QUEBEC ST).

Her talk will focus on the early pioneers who built the trading posts and military camps along the Front Range--frontier forts that shaped Colorado's future.
