Tour the SM Energy ideaLAB

Are you interested in recording music, learning about 3D printing, or making your own customized sticker? If so, join us for an ideaLAB Tour on Saturday, May 26th from 12:30 - 1 p.m.

The SM Energy ideaLAB is the makerspace located on Floor 4 of the Central Library. A makerspace is a community space where you can use equipment, tools, and software to make things, work on projects, and collaborate with other makers. The ideaLAB is free to use, open to everyone, and no library card is required. At the ideaLAB you can use a sewing machine, solder a circuit board, or even mend a broken backpack.

We are offering tours of the ideaLAB every month, with opportunities to explore all the lab has to offer. Our helpful staff will show you around the lab, answer any questions, and help you get started with any of our equipment. Check out the details of this month’s tour below.
