Dissect a PC in BuildCamp at Montbello

If you have ever wanted to peek "under the hood" of computer and see how all the parts work, join the Montbello Branch Library for BuildCamp on August 16, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (This event is for teens ages 12-19.)

At BuildCamp, you will spend the afternoon learning the basics of computer hardware by taking apart a computer and learning how to put it back together. We'll also show you how to install a brand new operating system. All of the computers, tools, and expertise will be provided.

BuildCamp is free, though space is limited. Click the link below to register and secure your spot:

What other DPL locations will hold this camp?

Hi Faye, there is one other BuildCamp being held at the Central Library this Thursday, July 19. Unfortunately, registration is closed and there is a wait list. At the time of this writing, there are two more slots open for the Montbello BuildCamp.
