Summer is here, and the SM Energy ideaLAB wants to help you spend it making! Throughout the summer, ideaLAB will have normal open lab hours: Monday and Tuesday: 3 - 8 pm, Wednesday: 3 - 6 pm, Thursday: 1 - 6 pm, Friday: 3 - 6 pm, Saturday and Sunday: 1 - 5 pm, but we’re also trying out some special all-ages opportunities for you to engage with other members of the community that share your same passion, and work on projects in a collaborative, social environment. We’ve specifically scheduled these events in the evening after parking meters have shut off, so street parking around the library is free!
Monday evenings 6:30 pm - 8 pm throughout the summer, the ideaLAB will host Maker Mondays, your time to meet and connect with other makers in the library's makerspace. Each week will have a creative theme - bring your projects and ideas. While not a formal class, these evenings will be open-ended and driven by your own interests, with chances to interact with other makers and create something unique
