Learn at Home with ideaLAB!

January is National Hobby Month, let’s celebrate by finding a new DIY hobby or learning more about a crafty hobby you already love with resources from the ideaLAB makerspace!

You can join us online for these upcoming free, all-ages maker workshops:

In addition to virtual programs, ideaLAB staff have been building a collection of resources to help you make things at home on your own schedule. The ideaLABs post a variety of projects from using photo and music software to upcycled crafts you can make with things around the house.

You can find step-by-step tutorials on the ideaLAB Instructables page. The Instructables interface allows you to upload a photo of your creation to share with us, we’d love to see what you create! You can also show off your makes with us on our ideaLAB Facebook group or on Instagram by tagging your posts with #idealabmakes.

If you prefer to learn by watching how-to videos, check out the  DIY with ideaLAB Playlist on YouTube. Watching one or more of these videos are also part of this year’s Winter of Reading activity list, which puts you one step closer to claiming your prize!
