Technology, Ghost Hunters, and Books!

Are you looking for something to do this week? We have plenty of options at Fresh City Life My Branch. Whether it be learning about IOS, learning about Ghost Hunting, or joining us at one of our book clubs, we have something for you.

On Tuesday, October 23, join us at the University Hills Branch at 6pm for our Tuesday Technology Nights. Come learn about IOS!

On Wednesday, October 24 at Smiley at 6pm join the Ghost Hunters. Meet Denver's leading ghost hunters, Spirit Paranormal Investigations as they provide a fun and informative presentation about ghosts and ghost hunting. SpiritPI will share spooky stories about what it's like to investigate the paranormal and demonstrate the tools they use to detect ghosts. They will even display real scientific evidence captured during formal investigations of some of Denver's most famous haunted locations!

Thursday, October 25 brings the following book clubs:

10:30 a.m., Schlessman: Read Aloud Group for Lifelong Learners -- Join a librarian and other lifelong readers as we read books and poems aloud together. The reading will stop periodically to allow for discussion and reflection. Perfect for adults who are experiencing trouble with reading as they get older (because of vision problems or dementia, for instance). Also for people who simply want a social outlet that revolves around books. Everyone who loves books is welcome!

6:30 p.m., Bear Valley: Mystery Book Club -- Join us for refreshments and a lively discussion. Share your favorite authors and titles and catch up on new releases and other mystery news. This month: The Keeper of Lost Causes by Jussi Adler-Olsen.

6:45 p.m., University Hills: Thursday Night Book Club -- Join us for a rousing discussion. Please call 720-865-0955 for this month's selection.

Hope to see you this week, and we'll have plenty more for you to choose from this weekend!
