Did you know?

  • A new report from the Partnership for a New American Economy found that more than 40 percent of Fortune 500 companies were founded by immigrants or their children. Eighteen percent (or 90) of the 500 companies had immigrant founders.
  • The rate of business ownership is higher for immigrants than non-immigrants, at 11% compared to 9%.
  • Almost 1 in 5 small businesses in the U.S. are owned by immigrants.

On Monday, April 7, from 5-7 pm, Hadley Library will host local immigrant businesses, creative entrepreneurs, and community members at our "How I Made It" Plaza event.

Please join us to talk about ideas and experiences living, working, and creating in our neighborhood! Community presenters will include local author Wayne OmuraLupita's Event CenterVinh Xuong Bakery, and more!
