If you have a Denver Public Library card, you know it starts with D0 (zero) and gives you access to books, movies, music, eMedia, research databases, computer time and more.
Remembering your D0 number isn’t always easy though, especially when you’re watching t.v. in bed on a sick day, smart phone in hand, wanting to place a hold on that bestseller Oprah just mentioned.
There's a simple answer - just log into your Denver Public Library account and set an easy-to-remember Username! Maybe it’s your pet’s name or the protagonist from your favorite book or movie. View Username video tutorial
Once you’ve set your username, you can enter it in place of your D0 library card number to:
- Login to your DPL account
- Access Overdrive and other DPL databases
- Place holds
- Key in at library self checkout stations
Note: This is YOUR secret username. Staff cannot see or search by username, so you will always need to present your library card or picture ID for staff-assisted checkout and account questions.
Username cannot be used in place of D0 card number when placing Prospector, MOBIUS and World Catalog requests.
