Central Library expanding in hours and space

The Central Library now has expanded hours! Starting this month, you can now visit Central during the following: 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday, 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Thursday. All library services prior to expansion will still be available during the new hours. Curbside pick up window hours remain the same, Sunday 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. and Monday - Thursday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Along with the expanded hours there’s a new and exciting look to the first floor of the Central Library. As construction continues throughout the building, another milestone has been reached with the completion of the new main desk on the first floor. This service point offers a more centralized customer service experience, where you can ask questions, use the self-service holds pick up, and return your checked out materials with the return of the conveyor belt sorter.

The new space features a unique design with a more prominent layout that serves as the first place customers see and can approach with their questions. Construction will continue through this year into the next, as the Large Programming space construction wraps up.

Due to construction, Central Library is open with first floor only access.
