The Denver Public Library Friends Foundation annual Summer Used Book Sale will take place Wednesday, June 5 through Saturday, June 8. The sale is held in the Conference Center at the Denver Central Library, 14th Ave. and Broadway, and features over 60,000 items—including children’s books, nonfiction and fiction books, along with CDs, DVD and audio books—all at bargain prices starting at under $1. New items are added daily.
The annual summer sale is sponsored by the Denver Public Library Friends Foundation and raises more than $70,000 for library programs, services and materials. Books and materials sold come from both private donations as well as items which have been retired from the library’s collection.
In addition to great buys on mass-market publications, the Red Chair Bookshop—located inside the Denver Central Library—sells thousands of high-quality and hard-to-find books. The store is open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. daily.
