Denver is a vibrant, diverse city with residents from all over the world. Over a hundred languages are spoken in our communities. Businesses, neighborhood centers, faith communities and cultural institutions provide endless opportunities to learn from one another and enhance our own lives.
The Denver Public Library celebrates this richness by participating in Welcoming Week, a nationwide initiative that brings together immigrant, refugee and U.S.-born residents at events that inspire and entertain. We believe that welcoming communities benefit everyone: socially, economically and culturally.
Join us for one of these free, fun programs to meet new people, experience new things, and show the world that you welcome everyone!
To learn more about how the library supports Denver's diverse communities, visit our Services to Immigrants and Refugees web page, where you can find programs and services all year and a library guide for newcomers in twelve languages.
