Winter of Reading - Read and Explore!

It’s a new year, and that means it’s time for Winter of Reading! Take on this adult reading challenge to explore the library’s services, find your next favorite book, and connect with other readers around Denver. Pick up an activity brochure at any DPL location between now and February 28, complete any five activities, and trade in your brochure for a limited edition mug or canvas tote bag.

Looking for a safe way to try something new? Check out these passive programs you can complete at your own pace either outdoors or in your own home:

Take-home DIY Sharpie Mug Kit
Pick up a kit at the Ross-Barnum Branch Library and flex your creative muscles. When you’re done, upload a photo to the maker challenge to tick off a brochure activity. 

Tiny Art Show
Stop by the Decker Branch Library for an art kit, get creating, then drop off your masterpiece to be displayed in their Tiny Art Show.

Trivia Walk
Take a stroll through one of four Denver parks and look for the signs featuring 10 different bookish trivia questions. Submit your answers for a chance to win a prize.
