New Beginnings in RiNo

The RiNo Art District neighborhood in Denver is worth exploration. So much has changed in the last few years. I remember visiting a friend who had just moved into a cavernous warehouse space there about ten years ago. She extolled the virtues of her new neighborhood even though it seemed relatively deserted -- with very few sidewalks or other infrastructure amenities. I thought at the time that she might have made a mistake. I was wrong.

RiNo now boasts some great restaurants, micro breweries and bars and other great retail. It changes by the day and every time I am there I see something new -- including a lot of new sidewalks! I'm there a lot because I make fun adult programming and events in this neighborhood on behalf of the Denver Public Library. It has been a labor of love.

This week our partner there, RiNo Art District Headquarters, is moving into their new space at Zeppelin Station -- located at 3501 Wazee Street. Easy to get there on the A-line train and just hop off at 38th Street Station. Denver Public Library will continue creating and hosting events both at Zeppelin Station and around the RiNo neighborhood. Hope to see you at an event soon!
