The average bowling ball weighs 12-13 pounds. This summer, with the help of Dr. Joel Fuhrman's Eat To Live, I've lost 57 pounds -- or about four and half bowling balls.
Can you imagine carrying four bowling balls around with you all day -- from the moment you wake up until you get back into bed? I can and I did. I've still got a long way to go, but I'm celebrating those four bowling balls. And a half.
Yep, I'm that guy that's been on a lot of diets, with little or no success. But when I found Eat To Live, something clicked. It was added inspiration that Dr. Fuhrman would be visiting the library for a lecture and book signing in July. Now I am enjoying the Doc's program and learning a new way to eat that will help me for the rest of my life.
I encourage you to check out his books and I'll include several of his titles here. Additionally, I'm excited to read that Dr. Fuhrman will be releasing a cookbook that includes lots of delectable recipes that fit the program! I'm learning how to enjoy real, whole food in ways that this king of the snack chips never thought he would. If you struggle with weight or food addictions, check out the great work that Dr. Fuhrman is doing.
I'll keep you posted on my progress. Here's to a healthier table for all of us!
congrats, so much congrats!
I think you are on a wonderful journey to health and wellness! The optimism that you bring and honesty and encouragement as an example shows what the human will, combined with a reasonable plan eating fresh, healthy and nutritious (unprocessed) food, can do!
Keep going till you cross the finish -- and may you always eat to live!
A fellow traveler
