Winter of Reading might be halfway over but the FUN has just begun!

There is still time to come in and pick up your Winter of Reading brochure, and while you're here don't forget to pickup an Engage brochure as well to find out about all the amazing activities we have going on throughout the system in March, like these awesome author events!

Starting this Saturday, March 4 at 1 p.m. in the Burnham Hoyt Book Club Room, come join local author K.B. Wagers at the Central Library, as she discusses her thrilling SciFi series, The Indranan War.

Saturday, March 18, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Central Library Conference Center, join award-winning children's illustrator Christian Robinson as he discusses his art and leads a fun interactive paper cutting art workshop. Thanks to the Tattered Covered Book Store books will be on hand for purchase and signing.

Sunday, March 19, beginning at 2 p.m. at the Schlessman Family Branch ioin author and survivor Lynn Hall, as she discusses her moving story of resilience and strength Caged Eyes: An Air Force Cadet's Story of Rape and Resilience

Don't miss internationally bestselling author Gayle Forman as she discuses her most recent title Leave Me, on Tuesday, March 21, at 6 p.m. in the Central Library Conference Center. This event is a collaboration with Colorado State University and Tattered Cover Book Store. Books will be available at the event for purchase and signing.

You guys hold onto your hats because I'm not finished yet!

On Tuesday March 28, at 6:30 p.m. in the Burnham Hoyt Book Club Room, come meet two time Colorado Book Awardee Manuel Ramos, as he discusses My Bad, the most recent of his Mile High Noir crime fiction novels which he sets North Denver. Books will be available for sale and signing.

And finally, last but not least After Hours with Héctor Tobar at the Rodolfo Gonzales Branch on Thursday, March 30, at 6 p.m. Join the discussion with Pulizter Prize-winning Tobar as he discusses more than just his books, but will speak to the evolving relationship between the United States and Latin America from what he has witnessed as a journalist for more than 20 years. This event is a collaboration between Denver Public Library, Colorado State University and Barnes and Noble. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
