Story Time Was Never This Fabulous: Drag Queen Meets Little Golden Books

Get tucked in by Denver's drag queen superstar -- Dixie Crystals. She will be reading from her favorite storybooks at Denver Public Library's first ever drag queen story hour. Whether she picks up a Dick and Jane book or her favorite Little Golden Book, A Day at the Seashore, when Ms. Crystals reads, people better listen. Get read at this fun night out on the town -- all part of RiNo Art District's First Friday for October.

Dixie Crystals and Drag Queen Story Time: First Friday in RiNo
Friday, October 6, 6-9 p.m.
RiNo Art District HQ, 2901 Blake Street, Suite 165

Pull up a chair and listen to Dixie Crystals read charming and wholesome children’s stories -- with a wink! In some cultures, the name Dixie Crystals is synonymous with delightful, double entendres and mirthful good times. Put a Little Golden Book in front of her, and she goes from zero to hilarious in five seconds. Find out at Denver Public Library’s first ever Drag Queen Story Time. Ms. Crystals entertains while we serve up appropriate snacks for your story hour. Stories read at the top and bottom of the hour throughout the evening.
