Crush, Jr.: Denver Public Library Sponsors Crush Festival's First Ever Kids' Mural

The RiNo neighborhood Crush Mural Festival has everything: artists, street pop up booths, access to great food and drink and lots of shiny, happy people. It has grown to become one of Denver's most neighborhood-centric and artist-driven events, drawing graffiti artists and muralists from around the world. But what it has lacked, in the seven years since it was launched, is a kids' component. And this year, Denver Public Library is bringing that to the party!

Crush: RiNo Mural and Graffiti Festival: Kids Edition
Saturday, September 16, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Mural Wall in the parking lot at Larimer and 26th next to IMAC, Inc.

Crush, the raucous celebration organizing artists to paint murals all over the RiNo neighborhood is already a beloved Denver art tradition. And this year, Denver Public Library adds to the fun with a wall just for kids ages 5 to 12. Put your grubbies on and come out and paint! It will be the first ever kid-powered mural in the seven year span of the festival! This experience is for kids only (parents and art fans encouraged to watch and cheer the young artists on). Register your young artist online, or call 720-865-1205.
