Call to Crocheters: Tapestry Crochet Installation at Denver Public Library

Fresh City Life has launched its yearlong fibers project: The Tapestry Crochet Potholder Installation -- and we're looking for interested crocheters to lend a hand.

We've got yarn for you to use in gorgeous colors (and free). We've got teachers on hand to help you with the very basic pattern (no charge for instruction). And we just need a little hooking from you so that we can fill up our installation space with a beautiful artwork created by our community. The pictures here represent some of the potholders that we've already received. It's a more-the-merrier project, so join the cause if you can!

Drop by the Fresh City Lounge at Central on any Monday evening 5-7:30p for details, yarn and the pattern. Or come to our Saturday workshop:

Makers Community Event: Tapestry Crochet Installation
Saturday, January 25, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Central Library, Level 1 Fresh City Lounge

Bring your size F or G crochet hook; then hang out, create and be social with a bunch of hookers while we make a group work of art! All yarn and instruction provided. Basic skills required, no beginning students please. Please register online or call 720-865-1206.

This will be an ongoing 2014 project. Keep updated on all Fresh City Life events and workshops.
