Book a Pass to the Molly Brown House Museum With Your Library Card!

We are pleased to announce that the Molly Brown House Museum is partnering with the Denver Public Library to offer DPL library card holders free admission for the guided tours of the Molly Brown House Museum.

Historic Denver’s Molly Brown House Museum is committed to enhancing the city’s unique identity by telling the story of Margaret “Molly” Brown’s activism, philanthropy and passion through educational programs, exhibits and stewardship.

Margaret “Molly Brown” worked to create Colorado’s first juvenile court system, promoted cultural diversity, helped found the Denver Dumb Friends League and became a patron of the arts. She became Denver’s first historic preservationist when she saved poet Eugene Field’s home from demolition. She also negotiated with J.D. Rockefeller over the rights of coal miners in the aftermath of the Ludlow Massacre of 1914, joined forces with suffrage leaders Alva Vanderbilt Belmont and Alice Paul and ran for the U.S. Senate in 1914, six years before women could vote at the federal level. See the Molly Brown House Museum for a complete biography of Margaret Tobin Brown.

Admission is valid for a party of up to 4. All tours last approximately 45 minutes and generally start every 30 minutes, beginning on the hour and half hour. Book a tour online to reserve your spot!

The Denver Public Library has many books and resources about Molly Brown for all ages including the Margaret “Molly” Tobin Brown Papers in our archival collections.

I took my visiting parents and my 7-year old son on the tour (tickets through DPL), and it was terrific. What a wonderful benefit for library patrons; you continue to make the library an indispensable resource for our family. Thank you!
