If the treacle-y sweetness of Valentine's Day leaves you feeling not so loving, come sit next to us for a night of ironic, cinema fun. We're throwing our annual Anti-Valentine's Day Party and you're invited!
Anti-Valentine’s Day Party: He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not
Tuesday, February 11, 6:30-9 p.m.
Central Library, Level B2 Conference Center
Join Fresh City Life for our third annual Anti-Valentine’s Day Party. We won’t be exchanging sweet nothings, but we will sweeten the experience with great appetizers and sweet finishes from our friends at Whole Foods Market – and we’ll poke a little fun at this thing called love with a presentation of the French film, He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not. Audrey Tautou, star of the modern romance classic, Amélie, plays Angelique, a young woman whose object of affection may be in question. It’s a surprising, quirky film that will make you fall in love with restraining orders all over again. Film: 92 minutes, PG-13. This event is free and open to the public.
