On Saturday, November 16, veteran sports writer Mark Kiszla discusses his new book, No Plan B: Peyton Manning’s Comeback with the Denver Broncos. The book follows Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning from training camp through the regular season as he stages one of the most hyped comebacks in National Football League history. Join us at Schlessman Family Branch at 11 a.m. for this exciting event.
Ross-University Hills will be hosting Wayne Omura on Saturday, November 16 at 3 p.m. to discuss his most recent book, Zen Foot-Notes: Upon the Unknown Passage. A “metaphysical-mystical mountain-climbing adventure symbolic of our journey through life.”
Finally, come to Schlessman on Sunday, November 17, 2 p.m. to meet with Ruth Tobias. The author of Denver & Boulder Chef’s Table. This book gathers the region’s best chefs and restaurants under one roof, featuring recipes for the home cook from more than 50 of Denver and Boulder’s most celebrated restaurants. Tobias is a Denver-based food and beverage writer, assistant editor at Sommelier Journal and author of the blog Denveater. She is also the author of Food Lovers’ Guide to Denver & Boulder.
