Tour ideaLAB!

The SM Energy ideaLAB is the completely free makerspace located at the Central Library where you can use equipment, tools, and software to make things. If you are interested in recording music, 3D printing prototypes, making your own customized sticker, trying out virtual reality, using a sewing machine, fixing your household items, or even mending a broken backpack, an ideaLAB Tour might be fore you!

We are offering tours of ideaLAB twice a month, with hands-on activities (like virtual reality demos, robotics kits, or crafting projects) you can explore. There will be helpful staff to show you around the lab, answer any questions you might have, and help you get started with any of our equipment.

In January, our tours will be:

Thursday, January 11
12 PM - 1 PM

Saturday, January 27
12 PM - 1 PM

Can’t make it to either of those tour times? Stop by ideaLAB and staff will be happy to give you an informal tour during our open lab hours (Monday and Tuesday 3 pm - 8 pm, Wednesday and Friday 3 pm - 6 pm, Thursday 1 pm - 6 pm, and Saturday and Sunday 1 pm - 5 pm).

The SM Energy ideaLAB is located on Level 4 of the Central Library.
