FAQs
- Is the DPL Toolbar available for browsers other than Internet Explorer?
Not at this time, but we hope to have a Firefox compatible version soon.
- How do I know if I have the latest version of the toolbar?
The current version of the toolbar you are using is displayed next to the Toolbar Updates link in the DPL Resources pop up button on the toolbar. You can compare this version number with the DPL Toolbar installation link version shown at the top of this page.
- Can I use this on a Mac?
Again, not at this time since the toolbar does not work with any browsers other than IE, and our site is not supported on IE for the Mac. In the future, we hope to have a solution for Mac, Firefox or Safari users.
- Is the toolbar easy to uninstall?
Yes. Simply select Uninstall Toolbar in the DPL Resources pop up button on the toolbar.
- I installed the toolbar and now IE launches with a small window.
If this happens, simply resize the browser window by dragging the window from the bottom right corner to the desired size. Then close the window and launch Internet Explorer again.
- I installed/uninstalled the toolbar and now all of my toolbars and menus in IE are not in the same place they were.
You can arrange your toolbars and other IE menus any way you'd like. For more information on how to do this, check out Microsoft's Internet Explorer toolbar support page.
