A big, shaggy, hairy bear has hair everywhere except his no-hair nose. He catches fish in the spring, eats berries in the summer, hunts acorns in the fall, and hibernates in winter. His hair might get wet, his nose might turn blue, but he has fun in the green, gorgeous wood no matter what. Told with very descriptive language and a little bit of rhyme, this story of the seasons is gentle and sweet - perfect for little ones. The illustrations are soft and rounded, a perfect match for the text.
