Review

Janet Evanovich is back to her fun, fast paced and laugh-out loud antics in the latest Stephanie Plum novel.

I am happy to say I enjoyed Takedown Twenty. It has a fresher take on my favorite characters. I love hanging out with the gang from Trenton once a year when her newest adventures are published.

I swore off Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series for about 2 years. I know she been writing about the same characters for 20 books now. I got tired of blown up cars, physical pratfalls and never being able to make a decision about her love life.

This time, there were high stakes in Stephanie’s life.

Stephanie Plum, Bounty Hunter Bumbler is after skipped mobster Salvatore “Uncle Sunny” Sunucchi. “Sunny” is Joe Morelli’s godfather. Everybody is protecting “Uncle Sunny” even Bella, Joe’s grandmother. There’s a serial killer on the loose who kills little old ladies. Plus, a giraffe is running around Trenton, New Jersey.
