I really enjoyed this documentary. The imagery is stunning and it covers a lot of in-depth information on both whales and dolphins. I found it very interesting because it features more than the popular species and more than their typical behaviors. The second time I watched it I realized there were still more episodes to be seen and that I had missed my now favorite part of the documentary: the Boto Dolphins of the Amazon. I was awestruck by the Boto segment – the scenery and footage of the dolphins was incredible and the information fascinating.  Apparently they have the most advanced echolocation of all dolphins and can map objects in their environment as small as a pin! It’s also a nice documentary because the overall feel isn’t bleak like most contemporary ocean documentaries and doesn’t leave you feeling hopeless after watching it.
