The Monster Variations follows Willie, Reggie, and James during a summer that will change all of their lives forever. Someone in town is killing young boys by running them down with a menacing silver truck, and there is nothing to protect them except for a curfew and some not so observant parents. As the summer progresses the boys are haunted by not only the killer, but by their own inner demons.
