In the 7 Kingdoms, those who are Graced (or who have special powers) are feared and shunned. Katsa has a killing Grace and is often forced to punish people for her uncle King Randa. As Katsa grows sick of the abuse of her power, she forms a Council with nobles and peasants all around the 7 Kingdoms. Soon, the Lienid Prince Po comes to her to help him find his kidnapped grandfather and to solve the mystery of his disappearance. This mystery takes Katsa and Po across the kingdoms and thrusts them into a secret more dangerous than they ever imagined. This is a perfect novel of adventure, swordplay, romance, political intrigue, and friendship. It is the best book I have read all year. Get it now!
