Reaching a crossroads in her life, Emiko is searching for her identity. Catching a flyer in the mall, she decides to check out a performance art hangout called "The Factory" where people wear crazy costumes and are self proclaimed "Freaks." Intrigued by this strange world, Emiko musters up the courage to perform. Using a stolen diary from her babysitting job, she achieves her dream, but most importantly, learns about her herself in the process.
