Being a teen vampire sucks, especially when you have to keep it a secret. Vlad Tod isn't a regular vampire either and as far as he knows, is the very last one. With cool powers like hovering and mind reading, Vlad knows how to have fun with his gifts. The hardest part is being the orphaned son of a vampire and a human both of whom were killed for their illegal union. When his English teacher goes missing and a weird man shows up to substitute for him, his troubles are only just beginning.
