Review

Jeffrey Brown has created a perfect representation of Gen X fatherhood through a series of cartoons about the unlikely pairing of Darth Vader and his four-year-old son, Luke Skywalker.  Brown found the sweet spot by placing the characters in familiar Star Wars settings and applying lines of classic Vader dialogue to mundane parenting situations ("Perhaps I can find new ways to motivate you."). For his target audience (dads of small children who grew up on Star Wars), Brown's cartoons are right on. For everybody else, they're still really funny.

Such a sweet cartoon book. After having a kid, there is a whole new respect for things like this. The story is fun and amusing. Every father (that likes Star Wars in the least) should read this.
