Solstrom is a series made for TV by Cirque du Soleil. It’s unique because it includes international acts that you won’t find on touring shows, but also includes the regulars of the Cirque du Soleil performers. The series is broken up over five themed discs each led by solar characters that turn ordinary situations into magical ones by invoking different winds of change. My favorites are the Wind of Romance (disc one) and Ghostly Wind (disc three); the Twin Winds (disc one) is also interesting because it involves acts done by real-life twins. The sets made for filming instead of live performance have a more personal feel and the episodes are shorter and less epic than the touring production DVDs making it a little more approachable. If you love the Solstrom series and are interested in their full length performances, I highly recommend Corteo and Quidam
