Review

This is a cleverly written Thanksgiving tale about how the hens on the farm saved the turkey from certain peril at Thanksgiving dinner.  The text is amusing and is full of "eggstravagant" puns and word plays.  The illustrations are photographs of beautifully decorated puppets and props.

Although some of the text is witty, it might prove difficult for younger children to understand or appreciate.
