Review

I loved this book! It was an unexpected and completely entertaining find. The quirky, yet totally authentic characters (even the characters that aren't real are convincing) have quirky, yet authentic experiences that charmed me from beginning to end. Amy Kim captures it perfectly in her review for Library Journal, saying that Anansi Boys is "[A] fun book with a little of everything: horror, mystery, magic, comedy, song, romance, ghosts, scary birds, ancient grudges, and trademark British wit." The reader of the audio book, Lenny Henry, does a great job of distinguishing between the characters and of conveying their emotions and personalities.
