Creating an Account or E-Mail Address
Many personalized online services require that you create a free account. To create a free account, you will have to decide on a unique user name and a password that you will remember but should be difficult for others to guess. Some applications will ask you for reminder questions and answers so if you forget your password you can answer a simple question to be reminded of your password.
Many of these services require that you have an e-mail address. Having an e-mail address allows these services to send you password reminders and, if you allow it, they'll send you news and updates about their services.
