Many a gruesome battle has been lost and won over the one hundred tiles of a Scrabble game. It's time to bring that battle to the library, where the love of words and wordplay thrives. Fresh City Life is partnering with Novo Coffee to bring word nerds, bibliophiles and grammar freaks together once a month to test their skill, learn new small words and find like-minded friends (who can appreciate the alternate spelling of "Chi" as "Qi"). Some board games will be provided, such as Boggle, Scrabble and Balderdash, but feel free to bring your own so there's more word love to go around. Prizes provided by Novo Coffee and Tattered Cover.
