Reveille 3 presents ‘A Sentimental Journey: Letters from Home’

Reveille 3 presents ‘A Sentimental Journey: Letters from Home’

Reveille 3 presents ‘A Sentimental Journey: Letters from Home’
Saturday, August 1, 12:30 p.m.
Central Library, Acoma Plaza (outside the west entrance). In case of inclement weather, this event will be held in the Level B2 Conference Center.

Step back in time to an era of war bonds, rations, scrap drives, swing music and GI’s. This story of three ladies living during the 1940s is brought to life through the music made popular by the Andrews Sisters and woven with actual letters written during this time in our history. How these ladies' lives and relationships changed during WWII includes narrations of love lost and found, a yearning for a return to a normal life and the strength and determination of those living back home to help with the war efforts! ‘Letters from Home’ is an entertaining reflection back to a generation of honor, glory, courage, sacrifice and pride for the American people. Please join Reveille 3 with Anne Zinschlag, Christine Herivel and Marnie Ward on this sentimental journey! For more information on Reveille 3 visit www.myspace.com/reveille3.
