Expanded Library Hours at DPL

The Denver Public Library has now increased hours by approximately 40% thanks to additional 2A funding. All locations, except for the Westwood Branch Library, are now open a minimum of 48 hours (6 days) per week, with additional weekend and evening hours at several locations.

Library officials are working with the Westwood Community Center on expanding the Westwood Branch Library’s hours beyond the Community Center’s open hours, Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Thanks to Denver voters’ overwhelming support of ballot Measure 2A, the city is able to eliminate its budget deficit, restore essential services and put Denver on a path to full economic recovery. Denver will be able to deliver a smart, 21st century city that is built on a solid financial foundation with good jobs, healthy children, accessible libraries and safe streets. Visit the city's website for more information about ballot Measure 2A and the city's plan to Deliver Denver's Future.
