When Did Humans First Enter the Americas?
This is one of the most enduring and controversial questions in American archaeology. Although we still do not have the answer after more than 130 years of research, we are making progress in finding older and older human sites. Steven Holen, Curator of Archaeology at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science will discuss the present state of our knowledge and suggest further avenues for research into this question.
