Storytime

Colorado Rockies Eric Young, Jr. will be doing public literacy events encouraging young and old alike to read. Mr. Young is passionate about reading. He has done numerous literacy events in the past. By choosing different age groups and going to numerous libraries he hopes to introduce the joys of reading to hundreds over the course of this year’s baseball season. Some readings will feature children’s books, some young readers and there will even be some books for adults. Mr. Young is teaming up with the Denver Public Libraries, Volunteers of America and, of course, the Colorado Rockies to promote reading at all ages. These are free and open to the public and will be held on one Saturday a month for the next 6 months.
