Captain Vic - The Science of Flight

Performance and Presentations
Thursday, July 24, 2014 - 6:30pm - 7:30pm
Meeting Room

This is the ultimate class on the basics of flight! Being a former helicopter pilot himself, Captain Vic has a great love for all flying things and it shows in this program. There are many different types of flying machines, some are lighter than air, some are heavier than air. Some are powered, and some are not, but they all face one similar problem, how to overcome the force of gravity. In this class we will discover how man learned to do this through observation, experimentation, and trial and error. You will also build one of the coolest flying machines you have ever made that can fly over 100ft. No registration is required.
