Mobiles & Knitting--Sign Up Today!

There are still a few spots left in our upcoming Fresh City Life My Branch Mobiles for Fun and Learn to Knit classes! What are you waiting for--sign up today!

In Mobiles for Fun, you'll create a piece of moving sculpture from found materials. The parts will move in various directions setting up rhythms of motion or reverse motion. Materials could include: metal, plastic, wood, paper, found objects, and wire. If you have wire cutters and/or needle nose pliers, bring them along, but we'll have tools for you to use. Bring any objects that you want to incorporate into your mobile, too! Presented by artist Karole Sharpe. 2 dates to choose from: Sunday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Schlessman (register: 720-865-0000), or Saturday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Ross University Hills (register: 720-865-0955). This is a 2-hour class.

Have you been watching everyone around you knit, and are itching to learn? Syliva Montoya welcomes absolute beginners or lapsed knitters who need a refresher to her class on Saturday, June 25 at 2:00 at the Smiley Branch (register: 720-965-0260). You'll learn to cast on and knit, and how to get started on an easy project. Bring some needles and yarn to practice with!
