The Singer Gallery, located in the Mizel Arts and Culture Center, is featuring a new exhibit of images from LIFE Magazine, "the first all photographic news magazine" launched by TIME founder Henry Luce.

Over 60 images by popular photojournalists are represented including Margaret Bourke-White and John Loengard.   They captured life in America and abroad, giving beauty and sadness diverse faces to those at home.  If you can't make it to the  exhibit or want to learn more about the people behind the cameras, take a look at these titles available at the Library:
