We're bringing the harvest to you this Saturday.

I really hope you'll come to our Harvest Days cooking demo this Saturday. It will be the largest and most spectacular demo we've ever hosted. Chef Shellie sent me a note this morning to remind me what she'd be preparing -- pickled beets, beet green and walnut pesto and roasted Kohlrabi with Parmesan Cheese...Yummm! And, yes, she is making enough for you to try it, too!

In addition, we are hosting a mini-farmers market in the lobby of our cooking demo area and Grant Family Farms will be showcasing the best of the season: greens, eggs, herbs, beets and more.

If you need further enticement: our year round sponsor, Whole Foods Market, is donating a fabulous basket of delicious local goodies for one lucky winner. We will also choose the winning name for a Season's Egg Share and one Veggie Box pickup for another lucky winner. Eligibility: be present or become a fan of Fresh City Life on Facebook -- simple as that. But I suggest you come down on Saturday because this spread should be seen and enjoyed!
